My Story

I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) from College of Registered Psychotherapist of Ontario and a Registered Hypnotist from National Guild of Hypnotists.

When we experience trauma or life stressors, it is common to feel stuck and frustrated.  Confronting habits that suppress your true needs and desires is incredibly difficult. It is also the bravest and most commitment you can make to yourself.

I am here to ensure that you get the best care for your mental health in a safe and confidential environment. In the centre of my therapeutic approach is a strong therapeutic alliance with clients. I draw upon various theoretical approaches like Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Mindfulness-based self-compassion, and Solution Focused Therapies, I focus on developing safe, supportive, and collaborative relationships that promote empowerment and self-discovery. Through a holistic and compassionate stance, I draw upon various theoretical approaches like Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment therapy (ACT). I also offer Hypnotherapy which can provide deeper and more direct access to client issues that have not resolved with Cognitive Behavioural therapy.

I am a bilingual psychotherapist who provides counselling in both English and Mandarin.

My experiences in various countries across continents, have granted me a deep appreciation of cultural diversities.

I’m especially drawn to work with: depression, anxiety, trauma, PTSD, relationship difficulties, cross-cultural relationships, LGBTQ, sexuality, work-related stress, burn-out stress, new immigrant, family of origin issues, life transitions and more.

In my practice I have had the honor to witness the change and growth of my clients. I was impressed by their courage and resilience and I am happy to have been their support during a challenging time. I would be here to be a safe space for you to cure and move forward. I would love to have a chance to work with you. Contact me to book your free 15 minute consultation.
