My Story
I graduated in Acupuncture from the Ontario College of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and I specialize in both acupuncture and cupping therapies. My journey to becoming an acupuncturist began after I recovered from stage 3 breast cancer seven years ago. The treatments and surgeries left me dealing with significant pain and numerous side effects.
Through acupuncture, I was able to reclaim my health. This transformative experience made me a passionate advocate for its healing potential. It also inspired me to dedicate my practice to helping not only myself and my family but also the wider community.
In addition to my formal training, I’ve pursued advanced studies in various acupuncture techniques, learning from some of the most renowned and skilled masters in the field. This has allowed me to refine my own unique approach to treating a wide range of conditions.
In my practice, you may notice me using seemingly unconventional needle placements—like needling the ankle to address a frozen shoulder or treating knee pain through points near the elbow. I believe in gentle acupuncture, where fewer needles are used with greater precision to maximize effectiveness and minimize discomfort.
For the past two years, I’ve had the privilege of helping many individuals throughout the GTA with conditions such as:
-
Musculoskeletal issues
-
Sports injuries
-
Vehicle accident injuries
-
Arthritis and neuropathy
-
Chronic headaches and migraines
-
Digestive disorders
-
Emotional imbalances like depression, stress, anxiety, and PTSD
-
Hormonal imbalances
-
Gynecological concerns, including PMS, dysmenorrhea, irregular periods, and pain from endometriosis, among other conditions
