My Story
My journey into physical rehabilitation began during my undergraduate studies at York University's Kinesiology and Health Science program, where I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree in 2004. Following this, I pursued further education at Sheridan College, graduating from the Bachelor of Applied Health Sciences (Athletic Therapy) program in 2008. I successfully completed the certification exam by the Canadian Athletic Therapists Association and earned the title of Certified Athletic Therapist.
Driven by a desire to enhance my clinical skills and facilitate my patients' recovery, I enrolled in the Traditional Osteopathy program at the Canadian College of Osteopathy. Over the course of five years, I immersed myself in the program, completing all comprehensive clinical examinations and defending my thesis, "The Effect of Osteopathic Treatment of the Mandible on Upper Extremity Grip Strength," before the International Jury in 2016. As a result of my dedication, I was awarded the Diploma in Osteopathy Manual Practice (Dip.O.M.P.) and the Diploma in the Science of Osteopathy (Dip.Sc.O.).
Today, I am proud to be a member in good standing with the Ontario Association of Osteopathic Manual Practitioners (OAO), the College of Kinesiologists of Ontario (COKO), and the Canadian Athletic Therapists Association (CATA).
