Denise has worked in the mental health field for the past 28 years in a variety of settings. She has counselled with children, adolescents and adults working through transitions, relationship issues, anxiety, grief, loss, depression, emotional and physical abuse. In so doing, she has helped her clients work towards their goals and sought to improve their quality of life, with a strong interest in holistic healing. She has worked internationally in varied cultural settings and has a strong appreciation for diversity, having benefitted from exposure to a wide range of cultural issues and lived experiences.
Over the years she has found that practicing an Integrative, Person Centered, Cognitive Behavioural design with Mindfulness techniques has played an integral role in supporting her clients. This allows modifying their emotional and behavioural patterns and challenging limiting beliefs.
Denise strives to create a warm, compassionate, therapeutic experience that is safe, supportive and culturally inclusive for all individuals. Interface is personalized, structured, reinforcing and aimed to allow personal growth and comfort.
In her leisure time Denise enjoys spending time with family and friends, music, going for walks in nature settings, gardening, travel and watching movies.
